“Let’s Talk: How to Spice up Foreplay for a Better Sex Life” with Dr. Susan Block by TV Balaji | The Indian Express
![]()
Blame it on lack of time or imagination, many couples forego foreplay entirely or fast forward to intercourse, turning it into a vanilla act. “The word ‘foreplay’ sounds like something subordinate, like an appetizer with intercourse as the main course. It’s fine to skip the appetizer when it comes to food but skipping foreplay is rarely a good idea,” says Dr Susan Block – better known as Dr Suzy – a sex therapist and and the author of The Ten Commandments of Pleasure.

Bonoboville Testimonials: “Two Cars and a House. How I Did It” by Luzer Twersky
“As very few of you know I’ve spent the past year and a half or so living in this RV rent free. Because of that, I was able to travel to film festivals, pursue my dreams, and was generally able to enjoy a fairly worry-free life.
What some of you don’t know is that this RV belongs to and was on the campus of Bonoboville, a community founded by the amazing forces of Dr. Susan M Block and her husband Prince Maximillian Lobkowicz.
I need to say this publicly, if it wasn’t for their generosity I would never have been able to do what I did in the past year and a half. You all saw all my travels and fun stuff and probably wondered how I can afford it. Well now you know it’s because food and housing was provided to me by the wonderful sexy souls of Bonoboville. It’s because of them that I was able to shoot
@transparentamazon without having to worry about taking a week off and losing my job amongstmany other fun stuff. It is thanks to them that I was able to go to Norway and become part of the first ex-Hasidic 60s-inspired rock band with HP Gundersen (and we even performed on the Dr. Susan Block show where HP got a striptease during his guitar solo….”

Sex Ape by Lisa Barrow | Alibi
“Once upon a time, the story goes, the Congo River changed its course, dividing a group of great apes in two. (They were already split off from the apes who would evolve into humans.) Isolated on the Congo’s north side, one group evolved into our famous cousins the chimpanzees. South of the river, subject to a different set of environmental pressures, another group became the bonobos…”

“Monogamish” Directed by Tao Ruspoli featuring Dr. Susan Block
An exploration of Sex, Love & Monogamy, Feat. Dan Savage, Christopher Ryan, Susan M. Block & more!
The institution of marriage is in crisis. 1.1 million Americans get divorced every year. And it’s not just the couples who suffer: half of American children will see their parents get divorced.
Meanwhile, the “traditional” values that have shaped our understanding of love, sex, and marriage are losing their hold on our culture. The last half century has seen dramatic changes in attitudes about sex, work, gender roles, and the distribution of social and economic power.
But despite all these transformations the ideal of a monogamous loving couple hasn’t changed one bit.Monogamish

About Dr. Susan Block
Susan M. Block, Ph.D., a.k.a. “Dr. Suzy,” world-renowned sexologist and leading champion of sex education, erotic freedom and the highly endangered bonobo apes, is perhaps best-known for her groundbreaking specials on HBO. Host of the famous—and slightly infamous—Dr. Susan Block Show, broadcasting on radio, cable TV and the Internet for over 30 years, Dr. Block is a magna cum laude graduate of Yale University with a Ph.D. in sexology from the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality, and a co-founder of Sex Week at Yale, inspiring similar college-student-based sex education conferences around the world. A best-selling, award-winning author, Dr. Block’s latest book, The Bonobo Way: The Evolution of Peace through Pleasure, has been acclaimed for its paradigm-shifting vision, humor and sound advice by journalists, sexperts, statesmen, primatologists and porn stars.
Director of the Dr. Susan Block Institute for the Erotic Arts & Sciences, she is a top contributor to the Wiley-Blackwell International Encyclopedia of Human Sexuality, authoring “extended explorations” on “Sexual Fetishes,” “Phone Sex” and “Striptease,” as well as definitive articles on “Spanking” and “Cuckolding.” Recently, she wrote the foreword to the award-winning Ecosexuality collection, and her writings on sex, politics and culture have been published in a variety of publications from Counterpunch to Cosmo to her own Journal. But she’ll never quit her “day job” as a therapist in private practice, helping thousands of individuals, couples and groups, from California to Saudi Arabia, to explore, understand, discipline, enhance, share and enjoy their sexuality.
Married for over 23 years to Pr. Maximillian R. Lobkowicz, pioneering publisher of the first “reader-written” media such as the LA Star, Love, Hate, Finger, The Brentwood Bla Bla and Beverly Hills, the Magazine, the two founded and direct Bonoboville, both a new social-media and a real “socialist/capitalist,” pro-sex community in Los Angeles, known for producing the first reality-based sexuality programs, convivial “Speakeasies,” bonoboësque gatherings, erotic art exhibitions, bacchanalian soirées, life-changing lectures, sex-educational seminars, and priceless moments of communal ecstasy, with a portion of all proceeds going to help save the highly endangered real bonobos in the wild.
