NEON DREAM on DrSuzy.Tv
An Interview with the Winners of “Best Fantasy Feature Film” at the Indiewood Film Festival 2026 on The Dr. Susan Block Show
Size
Stepping out onto the ruby red carpet of Indiewood in Hollywood, we showed our support for NEON DREAM – produced by our friends from GasMaskGirl.
It was a lovely day at the movies, a throwback to simpler Tinseltown times and a path to a star-paved future. Accompanied by the Three Graces of Bonoboville – Ana, Christina and Angelina – with Dino on camera, Miguel as security and the Spirit of Captain Max for inspiration, I brought the party to the party.
After the screening, I interviewed Neon Dream’s cast and crew on DrSuzy.Tv – which turned into its own kind of party, our filmic epiphanies echoing through the cavernous old Grauman’s Chinese Theater, now owned by an actual Chinese company that goes by TCL (“The Creative Life”).
“Best Fantasy Feature Film” Winner
We weren’t the only ones to enjoy this trippy, kinky, cinematic experience; NEON DREAM won the Indiewood Film Festival’s top prize for “Best Fantasy Feature Film.”
Congratulations to our old friends, GasMask Girl producers Hector Cons and Manuel Ynez, and our new friends, director Mercedes the Muse and the rest of the delightfully quirky and talented cast and crew. Go Bonobos for independent filmmaking!
Watch the behind-the-scenes fun and exclusive DrSuzy.Tv interview with the winners’ circle – Mercedes, Manny, Hector, Moses, Ruby and Scarr – on indie filmmaking, fantasies, fetishes, life, death, near-death, grief, love, hate and gasmasks, exploring the Theater of the Mind and living the Neon Dream on location at the very first Indiewood in Hollywood.

An afternoon at the movies with Dr. Suzy calls for a little Hollywood glamour! We arrived at the Chinese Theatre ready to see Neon Dream, and let the outside world fade as the lights went down. Afterward, we carried the movie with us into the bright afternoon, talking about what we’d just seen. A lovely way to spend the day together. ✨ A Lovely video by Dr. Suzy!
