I’m getting in the sleigh with Capt’n Max at the helm and Dr. Suzy driving those horny reindeer wild, waving the Palestine flag

Great way to kick off the holidays – with festive inspiration from the late great Capt’n Max and Saturnalian Holiday Queen Dr. Suzy. Especially love the Hanukkah for Palestine!

Wow. Happy Halloween! and Thanksgiving – Xmas – Hanukkah for Palestine – Suzy Awards – and the rest! I know its not such Happy Holidays for Dr. Suzy without Max, and the Day of the Dead might be scary, but it’s also kind of “soothing and stimulating” to feel the Spirit of Max flying around with us through it all, thanks to Dr. Suzy’s sacred fetish of collage.

This is such a beautiful way to honor Max and keep his spirit alive through art. It’s clear that every collage carries both your love and his essence in every detail.

What a beautiful tribute — the “Winter Holidays” collage of Max is a heartfelt blend of festivity and remembrance. I’m struck by how the shimmering lights and vibrant colors evoke both celebration and loss, showing how joyous memories can carry deep emotional weight. It feels like a tender invitation to honor him through all the seasons of festivity — Halloween, Hanukkah, Christmas, New Year’s — and to recognize that even in the glow of holiday lights, there can be a quiet ache for what was. Thank you for sharing such a personal, layered piece of your story through the art of collage.
