This is Cate’s sixth appearance on the show (others being Sex Appeal, Kafkaesque Sex, Stage Brother & the DTease, Lights & Rights and Fire-Spanking) and Sam’s fifth. Each time they take their glam-rock, tattooed, torn-fishnet fashion look to the next level. To open 2014, the theme is green, an electric shade of jade concocted with a potent cocktail of Splat for bleaching and Manic Panic for color. And what color! The Emerald City of Oz has nothing on these two fluorescent Parrots of the Caribbean. And though it’s the same hue as Troma Films’ Return to Nuke ‘Em High’s toxic green goo, Cate and Sam make it sexy.

As usual, they come bearing gifts as well as baring body parts, most prominently “A Buttload of Months,” their 2014 wall calendar featuring 12 “stunning, sexy and silly” self-portraits in seasonal poses. And you’ll want to join to watch this show which is a real buttload of fun, as Cate and Sam strip down and spin around the in-studio stripper pole, topless twerking to the throbbing tunes of the DTease, whose song “Wall Street Prostitute” Cate feels is the epitome of “sexrock” with an anti-establishment political conscience. Shay Golden’s spine-tingling orgasm starts the song as she rides the Sybian, her man Brock Hard fingering her, a naked-and-bound Kinky Gaga wiggling and Wilson warbling as he spins around the stripper pole like a punkish dervish. Into the erotic mayhem skip Cate and Sam in ultra-flimsy white panties, wielding big white pillows for (you guessed it)—an epic pillow fight—letting fly a million snow-white feathers, as another guest, Richard “Stage Brother”  Buonagurio, strips down to his birthday suit and enters the heavenly clouds of down. But back to that DTease show which opens with “Mistress” Cate leading drummer Ryan Bodycombe into the Womb Room on a leash, whipping his naughty little buttload all the way. This leads us back into the current show’s discussion of the marriage of punk rock and BDSM, with a hat tip to the beautiful BDSM/steampunk-rock love affair of fabulous Fat Mike of NoFX and Goddess Soma who share Cate and Sam’s fetish for fluorescent hair coloring and tattoos. Other topics: golden showers, boobs, Cate’s ill-fated encounter with Debbie Harry, Sam’s high-level nipple maintenance, drunk sex, sleep sex, surprise sex, fake eyelashes, nudity, cannibalism, Sam’s day job at Kinko’s (where she wears a blonde wig to cover her green Mohawk), and Cate’s past as a heroin addict. That’s right, the capable empress of the Imperio Emperio was once a listless junkie. But Cate has gone from heroin to heroine, and she has been totally sober and squeaky clean—despite being very dirty (such is the paradox of punk sex-rock) for over four years. Put that in your pipe and smoke it! Both “soul-mates” Cate and Sam are a beacon of sex-positive, bonoboësque, go-go green light in the Sid-Vicious nihilist-punk darkness.
