Bedtime with Diane de Poitiers
It’s been a day of sex therapy sessions and computer conundrums. Plus I didn’t get enough sleep last night (um, well, the sex was good!), so I’m tired! But I miss my bloggamy, and I’m getting kind of addicted to committing blogamy with you. So I just have to write something before I go off to bed (not sure if I’ll have sex, Carlo; if so, it’ll be just one orgasm and then boom: Dream City.)
I did want to assure Diois that I too am a fan of 16th century Madame Diane de Poitiers, Mistress (in the truly dominant sense of the word) to France’s King Henri II. I am not awake enough to do her justice, but there are marvelous passages about her in Robert Greene’s book The Art of Seduction. She was the Empress of Seduction. A brilliant hot sexy woman with a creamy complexion and a sharp wit. For decades, she held the heartstrings of a handsome powerful monarch who was several years her junior, weilding all kinds of interesting powers over Henri and his wife Catherine de Medici (Diane is said to have told Henri when to have sex with Catherine). Diane was the ultimate “other woman” as well as the ultimate “older woman,” worshipped and scorned throughout France from her lifetime to this very day.
Like many great sexy people, Diane was androgynous. While Catherine was a girly-girl, Diane was a true tomboy; she loved to hunt with the boys, and the King loved her for that.
And now I’m going to hunt for my boy. It’s bedtime! Yayyy!!

I am very grateful to have received this nice reply so soon. Did you look at the picture of Diane I pointed out? Some people say that her body looks like a man’s _ precisely the way other weird individuals suspect Gwen Stefani might be a male.
