Actually, we were one of the first on the Internet with streaming content, going live in 1996, and again led the pack when we started broadcasting live video and pay-per-view, in 1999.  But due to other projects, emergencies and time passing faster than a premature ejaculation, our media site really didn’t enter the 21^st century until now.  We have had a string of web developers who knew too little—or maybe a little too much—to get the job done.  This is one reason why we so appreciate the wonderful work that Institute Web Developer (and Speakeasy Bartender) Nori Carter has done in creating and developing the new site.

Of course, Xam Paris has overseen the design, as he does all design elements at the Institute, from the broadcast studios to the bathrooms. Working under Xam and Nori are a great team of Speakeasy friends, lovers and ex-lovers posting, migrating and coordinating decades of shows and clips.  As is to be expected of any launch, the site still has a few kinks—and I don’t just mean the fun kind.  Please let us know about your experience in the Erotic Theater: the good and the bad of it.  We’re in beta, and, though we love to be worshipped, we can take our spankings; we need your good and bad feedback to make the site as user-friendly and awesome-in-every-way as possible.

RubberNecro: Speakeasy Star Rising
