CP Posts “Divorce” and I Appreciate Your Concerns
Counterpunch published “America Wants A Divorce!” today, and the responses are flowing in. I’m posting your comments here where I first posted the article on my bloggamy. It’s really sweet how some of you seem concerned for my welfare because I wrote this. I want you to know that I’m concerned for your welfare (and mine), and that’s WHY I wrote it, while freedom of speech is still vaguely permissible (albeit strongly discouraged) in America.

Response to Ron concerning “Divorce:”Ron, people like you leave me absolutely slack-jawed. You can’t get the least bit exercised about a war criminal president (who you undoubtedly voted for twice, by the way) lifting his leg on the Constitution, sitting around yanking his crank for half an hour on 9/11 after, by his own admission, being told that the country was under attack, refusing to enforce federal immigration laws, lying this country into an invasion that is a flat-out war crime, and illegally spying on American citizens in the name of his phony War on Terror (how in hell do you declare war on a tactic, anyway?), but you squirm in your chair, like an old prudish schoolmarm with her hair in a bun so tight it screams, over somebody using language you disapprove of.Words don’t kill people, Ron. Words don’t saddle this country with debt that your great-great-grandchildren will be working to pay off. Words don’t destroy the middle class, and send American jobs overseas, while the top 1% in this country live off everybody else’s blood. If you want to pull your hair out, pull it out over things that matter.Get over yourself.

Thank you for saying so clearly and so cleanly what we all are feeling in our hearts. I wanted to jump up and down and clap my hands when I read your piece, but I am just sitting here nodding and smiling. You are a shaman who channels the soul of the American people with passion and grace and fearlessness. You are a light in the darkness of our time.

I find your commentary and the use of foul language disgraceful. You can make a point without becoming an 8th grader on the school yard as an example.I do not support the President and his policies, but after reading childish rants, I am lining up on his side.Grow up. I think that you are so mad because a man never has wanted to touch you. If you get that vagina sized lump off your shoulder, you might find love.

Dr.Block, Wwwww OOOWWWWW!!!!.. I am certain half of America has been dying to say what you have said but did not quite know how to word it. Your skill and artistry shines through to make the precise point of exposing this cabal of fraudulent menace called the ‘Adminstration”. An adminstration of cowards without an iota of human decency.I wonder how many pray everyday to hear that the ‘beady eyed’ was found hanging upside down off a dead tree at a Texas ranch with a knot tied to his proverbial b… s.And of Dick tied to his dick close by.Someday and somehow, sanity will prevail…It only takes people to stop and think and then speak out in droves. You are instigating that and we are grateful. Many thanks.

This week on public television there were wonderful programs dealing with the American Revolution and John and Abigail Adams and also how the French and Indian War in many ways sowed the seeds and lead to the Revolution. Our founding Mothers and Fathers laid it on the line and made tremendous sacrifices so that our nation which is about FREEDOM and FREEDOM of SPEECH could be born. We have an OBLIGATION and we OWE them. How we meet that is by OPENING OUR MOUTHS. SAYING what we FEEL!! VOTING!! Let not our founding Mothers and Fathers great sacrifices and hard work BE IN VAIN!!!From the Pledge of Allegiance – “One Nation under God ( and Goddess ). INDIVISIBLE!!! With Liberty and Justice for ALL!” NOT just for a bunch of cronies!!!
