Having just survived an evil showerhead’s precipitous fall on my poor defenseless big toe, leaving me partially immobilized, unable to even walk (at least not in my skyscraper heels), I commence this show as a shoeless damsel-in-distress desperately seeking a superhero to save me from… another falling showerhead? A terrorist attack? Antonin Scalia’s toxic sour grapes?

Whatever the villain, my superhero is here and her name is Ari Dee, a stunning 5’8” provocateur, webcam performance artist and superhero extraordinaire. All dressed up as one of her favorite Comicon personas, Robin the Boy Wonder (Batman’s sidekick and Bruce Wayne’s not-so-secret gay lover), Ari flies into my broadcast bed and, unleashing her potent Weapons of Mass Seduction, saves me from 90 minutes of fussing over my fucked up foot. Instead we chat about her love of comics, cosplay, growing up in Oklahoma, her pansexuality and her fans’ fetishes (more on that in a minute), leading up to a lusty boobalicious round of Bonoboville Communion and Ari’s virgin Sybian ride!

Throughout the show, we festoon ourselves with rainbows, celebrating #LoveWins, the bonoboësque victory cry of Friday’s landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision declaring same-sex marriage to be legal and deliciously binding in all 50 states. We’re Proud to be Gay, the Bonobo Way! Bonobos are all “gay” in a way. A more descriptive term for bonobo sexuality might be “bisexual” or, like Ari, pansexual. Whatever you label it, the SCOTUS rainbow ruling is a beautiful way to segue from the Bonobo Spring RƎVO˩ution to a Bonobo Summer of Love (speaking of which, I’ll be giving a talk on The Bonobo Way at this year’s Catalystcon September 11-13—save the date!).

We also welcome the arrival of the Wiley-Blackwell International Encyclopedia of Human Sexuality print edition, three solid textbooks that really pack a wallop whether used as book-spanking paddles or research sources. It turns out that Ari has something interesting to say about each of the subjects I’ve written about for the Encyclopedia, especially cuckolding (she loves being a cuckold mistress) and fetish (her most unusual request is for the “coughing” fetish; on second thought, it sounds like a variation on gagging), as well as spanking (she takes her book-spanking like a good girl), phone sex (who doesn’t love phone sex?) and striptease.

Which brings us to Ari stripping off her costume down to her stark naked “secret identity” as a sleek nymph with super-perky B-cups, a smooth-shaven vulva and bouncy little butt. A nipple-slurping round of Agwa-infused Bonoboville Communion ensues with Wonder Woman, whose secret identity is Biz Bonobo, DrSuzy.Tv show producer and therapist with the Institute. Thus fortified, WW mounts the Sybian with Ari operating the controls like a gamer playing Mortal Kombat, except the only casualty here is WW’s Sybian virginity.

Thus empowered, Ari exchanges her “I Love French” G-string for a pair of white VS panties and rides the Sybian into what appears to be a deeply satisfying climax, with WW on the gamer controls and me as Vicki Vale, pulling Ari/Robin’s long, girlish pigtails like the mane of a wild mare.

Through it all, our favorite comic artist Anthony Lee Winn gets ready for Comicon 2015 (and his and Stan Lee’s “Villain’s Yachting Party”) by sketching the superheroes. Onward and foreword we go, capes flying, into the rainbow.
