Theoretically men and women should be total equal in their desire and expression of sexuality. But practically it does not seem to work out that way. In ancient times, 12,000 years ago before agriculture and formations of complex societies men and women essentially lived in communes and I suspect everyone had sex with every one else. There are certain scientific facts that are hard to overcome. The biggest one to me, 95% of any mans sperm is “hunter destroyer” sperm with only one function to seek out and kill another’s man sperm. This clearly demonstrates a long time ago multiple men were having sex with any and all women of the tribe and theoretically the healthiest man’s sperm impregnated the female to insure a healthy baby. At some point women became more selective and men became more interested in assuring paternity. So the rules changed. Recent studies a few years ago showed that 25% of women had a high interest in sex and 75% of men did. So clearly there is an imbalance. Obviously swing clubs try to mitigate this imbalance. We are not living 12,000 years ago and modern women are not interested in having sex with any and all available males. Maybe a few, but not as many. As a male I do feel a disadvantage but I also understand that life is not fair. In a perfect world an equal number of high desire women would attend a swing party with an equal number of high desire males. But life is not fair so as a male I understand that and yes the policies may not be fair or equitable and disappointing to me but until the rules change I will just have to live by them.

It is much better when the club only allows couples and single females. Here’s why: a club with a few more women than men keeps the environment fun. A club with a few more men than women turns into a Sausage fest! It makes the environment uncomfortable and single men go there with the assumption theyre going to get laid, which isnt the case. I want to hang with FEMALES. Males are great, i love my guy friends… but at a club, it only works if there are enough females there that the energy is good and everyone is happy. If you don’t see this, then man, what can I say? You got your blinders on. And your blindness doesn’t help yourself or others. Things just don’t always come to you. It’s a GAME, we all play it. Your guest should have just said what he meant instead of trying to justify it with the gender balance excuse: single men are not welcome. When people say it throws off gender balance, it doesn’t make sense. Doesn’t allowing single women into swing clubs also throw off the gender balance….only on the female to male ratio? If they’re concerned about gender imbalance, then single women should be treated the same as single men.
