Another awesome show but yes, this Labia Day, it was especially horrible to hear Abbott and the Texas Taliban declaring what can and can’t pass between my labia. But when it comes to masks and vaccines, they’re all “My Body My Choice”. That’s hypocrisy on steroids.

Great on-the-scene reporting on the NJ floods from Chris! I remember when he sang Happy Birthday to You so beautifully. I can hear in his voice on this show he’s been changed by his personal struggle with Climate Change. Good luck Chris!

And thanks for the illuminating trip through time with the late Mr. Ed Asner, a real life Santa Claus (but Jewish) who cared about Labor. Speaking of which Happy Labor Day! Though thanks to You, I now prefer Labia Day.

Wow, great powerful rant against the anti-abortion, anti-woman, anti-sex Texas Taliban. They are A Handmaid’s Tale in a handbasket. Their vigilantes aren’t “whistle blowers” – they’re greedy, evil snitches.
RIP Ed Asner. Wonderful tribute that only you could give, Dr. Suzy. Worth reading on your site or Counterpunch. But I like the way you show the collage here featuring a couple of my favorite socialist entertainers who made and still make the world a better place. Glad to see all the socialist symbolism along with Mary Tyler Moore, older Ed having so much fun with you, as well as holding the “Joint Strike” SAG-AFTRA sign.
And shoutout to Chris for the Kitty Litter solution to that awful NE flooding – perfect for Labia Day.

Eloquent and unique tribute to Ed Asner, truly an exceptional human being. Yours is very different from the other obits out there. But then you had a special connection and with you socialist sexologist’s perspective, you round out his immense legacy.. You are probably the only interviewer to get Mr. Asner to be so remarkably uncensored in his comments about sex, potency and watching silent Stag Films. Great sex and life questions and answers. “Relax” is perfect for now and always. Also very portentous about the Tea Party transforming into “warts and moles” which are now the MAGA and QAnon.

Ed Asner inspired us to think. He was a teacher and sometimes a comedian, they go best together. Many people have gained from his demonstrations of cooperation throughout his long career and his support of the actors unions and other humanitarian causes. I’m sure he’ll be watching over the new generation of actors, teachers, and activists of the current age. You did it right, bravo!

This was an excellent show this week. I admire how you speak out against the Texas abortion ban. Taliban is an apt name for such a restrictive law! I am hoping other states don’t follow suit. Also, thanks for your amazing tribute to Ed Asner. Perhaps the best I’ve read so far that captured the core of who he was.
