I can’t believe we, the people of Earth, are at 8 billion people. Holy shit, especially when you take into account that not even a century ago we were barely at a billion. Like Capt Max said, in the 40s we were at 1.5 billion people.

Dr. Suzy is so right. The Bonobo Way philosophy can do so much more than we give it credit for to include saving us from ourselves with too much procreation. Instead, we should promote more recreational sex. That is a brilliant point that lands on many levels

Really fun and informative show as always! It’s fascinating to think that in less than a person’s lifetime, there was a population increase from 1.5 to 8 billion! In 2021, 44% of people ages 19-49 in the US are said to be unlikely to have children. But I’m sure many of them still have multi-splendored sex drives. The Bonobo Way and the “Make Kink Not War” philosophy can certainly give everyone a happier and peaceful life!

Great show! I agree that reproduction is killing us. The population is too high, and everywhere you go, it’s overcrowded! I think we teach more healthy sexual relationships without the goal of procreation. Plus, we can avoid a lot of unwanted children out there, which leads to less trauma, and less awful situations overall. Merry Krampus!
