Great interview! How amazing of a low-budget film, to get the stardom of a Hollywood-produced movie. A timepiece for sure. And how awesome that, thanks to the timing and the scene of the 1970s, it was possible to actually see Deep Throat in American theaters!

An educating and stimulating episode. I feel that Deep Throat is being lost among the younger generations, especially because porn is more about volume and cranking out as much as possible! There are very few actual stars any more, and very little actual acting (let alone good acting). Additionally, Deep Throat really paved the way for porn and provided a platform for female pleasure on the big screen. Once more, a great episode of FDR!

This was a stupendous episode! I really enjoyed hearing about porn in the ’70s and so many things that happened behind the scenes of Deep Throat. I am looking forward to seeing the movie because I have never seen it before. It was great to hear Gerard and Christar’s perspective of the events. I also applaud you for asking good questions that brought out thoughtful answers.
