This show definitely gave me a lot to think about, from the untimely death of the young goddess Sadie Hawkins to the current abortion news we have a lot to be aware of and act on. In recent news we are now hearing that North Carolina is working on redefining consent and state lawmakers are seriously considering about passing a bill. They are now saying that once a sex act has begun you cannot withdraw consent.For one this is not a law that we need right now or ever this to even wast time creating this bill is a waste of tax payers money and energy. Secondly this is a violation of basic human rights, No means No at any stage, the state or the government has no right over the females body,or anyone`s body for that matter, you cant negate assault even if it starts out with consent. I’m all for fairness but putting all the responsibility on the women who are the victims in most cases is simply lazy and that seems to be the common theme these days.

In regard to the murder of Goddess Sadie Hawkins, I think there needs to be more research into the motive of her killer and the backstory, not to sensationalize the tragedy but to help prevent future deadly situations for women in that community – if possible!
