I really enjoyed this show. As someone who was a bible study leader and involved in the college ministries, I could relate to a lot of the discussions. I really loved hearing Daniele and Mike’s explanation of the Bible. While Christianity has good elements, it’s caused a lot of sexual harm and repression. Sexual restriction is a reason why there’s so much pain in the world. Love and sex make everything better. God made it to enjoy!

It’s time for religion to embrace reality – that we are sexual beings, and that shaming those who are open-minded about sex is not a method that works well- on the contrary, the guilt and the shame imposed cause psychological scars. Practicing restraint where necessary is a lot more effective than being punished and shamed for being sexual beings. Time for new beginnings…

This show penetrated on a soul level, evincing (thanks, in part, to Goddess Virgin) that true intimacy can happen without actual physical penetration. It was also fascinating to hear about people’s upbringings and how religion played a part in their sexual expression–and sometimes repression.

August 5th Highlights:
