I liked the erotic hypnosis idea. It’s been described as a waking dream-state, and I’ve seen one where several of my friends got on stage. They were left with a keyword (I forget what theirs was) that would trigger them to think that their shirts were on backward when someone said that word, but that it would fade about an hour after they came out of hypnosis. As we were leaving, I would slip the word out, and it worked. They kept asking me what happened when they were on stage. I told them what I saw, where each of them gave birth to their first child, held her for the first time. They were also made in to rock stars, jamming as a band in front of a stadium full of people. Not one of my friends up there played an instrument, but they believed all of it. Very convincing. I liked that the keyword did fade in about an hour, but it showed me how powerful the art of suggestion can be.

That was a cool show. I can understand how you can turn to comedy after so much trauma. Seems sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying.

Andre`s Confessions is definitely a biopic waiting to happen. What a journey, you never know what kind of trauma some people have conquered to get to where they are. That was great insight on what male strippers go through, that is for sure an experience we don’t get to hear a lot about, especially from the male stripper’s point of view.
