I have to say that I feel the same helplessness regarding mass-shootings because of Republican Party policy (of promoted mass-killings and the ensuing, insulting, & powerlessness of “thoughts and prayers”) and Democratic Party “talk-talk-talk (and quietly do-nothing)” actions which have ordinary Americans, like myself, in the vise-grip of inertia.

Perhaps, as you articulated as well, the overarching and ever expanding American defense budgets; along with the fact that we have been at war every single year since the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941; is an underlying assumption and cause since our own anti-war movement had better days during the 1960s and early to mid ‘70s with the 1970s advent of COINTELPRO, a Nixonian planned dismantling of the anti-war and civil rights movements of the times.

All I can say, is PLEASE continue to initiate your compelling work regarding alternatives to such purposeful-violence through the seeking and activation of the pleasure-response, or, using your own terminology, the Bonobo-Way of seeking to build peace through pleasurable experience.

I’ve been saying this for years. I feel great compassion for those who can’t put it together to hook up. I tried my hand at het sex when I was younger, poorly, but was anarchistic enough that homosexuality was an option, and it turns out I excelled at it. Sex surrogacy and therapy are matters of public safety. I’m not sure how paid sex workers will play out in the incel Stacey/Chad/Becky ecosystem for a not insignificant number of incels. Maybe the incels who take the service could convince other incels that it is not that bad.
Bots took down my freak Twitter because I dared suggest that it is absurd as a political priority in the LGBT agenda to demand that every fundamentalist Christian and conservative validate the gender identity of every trans person. Would be nice if that would happen but don’t get your hopes up as that would entail decades of stalemate sniping with inevitable backlashes. Under new Twitter ownership, my account was restored.

I agree with your sentiments that sex work and well, sex in general is a form of therapy that the government should subsidize! Sex workers are providing vital services, yet they are so devalued and disrespected by society and our government. If sex was treated in a more positive manner, it would benefit the world so much more.
