There are more extreme measures taken to bar folks that had the meagerest amount alcohol in their system from driving . Not that I am in favor of drunk driving .But I think a crazed person who is armed is far more dangerous than somebody’s who is a little buzzed !!! At times I will needle you about the need for the populace to be armed to fend off hypothetical invaders . But I could not joke about letting nut cases weld weapons whether that force was a militia, professional or mercenary. Not that any of Black water or whatever name it goes by nowadays, does not have any crackpots with in it’s ranks !!Its true at the time militias were formed the populace did not trust a standing professional army .Although to be honest the need for the US military is grossly over blown while other more pressing issues are vigorously ignored ..Perhaps when Ted Nuggent tried to get out of military service by acting nutty it might not have been a bad idea to have locked him up for real !!
