in the continuing "Democratic Sex" exhibition. Her documentation of the
adult industry is described by Penny, "I go for the beauty... or the humor...
or the pathos. That's the aspect of the industry that captivates me; the human side."Her work captures raw emotion that is breathtaking.

Jolie Barry a Speakeasy Gallery in-house photographer who has
documented the evolution of The Dr. Susan Block Show. Her photos
show what happens during the tapping and during post show. She prefers
to shoot in color because, "Suzy is so colorful, she really needs to be shown in color", Jolie is also a painter and has exhibited her paintings at the Speakeasy Gallery.

Juliane Backmann was born and raised in Germany. Exhibiting
her photography and mixed media installations throughout Germany
and California. She attributes to democracy and the "Democratic Sex"
exhibition by her Marilyn series, five images of various ethnic subjects.
