Hey Dr. Tim it sounds like your vying for my position. Yet despite the numerous attempts, as of late, to usurp me I’ll remain stalwart in my defense of this coveted position. But hey if you want to help I could always use another hand =).

I’m happy to live and work for the visionaries we have here. The same visionaries who fight for free press, love, and a sense of liberty and justice I want others to embrace. The truth is I enjoy the fact that the young Prince and the sexy Reverend are fierce non-violent combatants in the this theater of war. I look forward to the new year and can’t wait to see just where things will end up.

Great piece! I checked out some thingys you’ve got going on. WOW! What a clever and imaginative woman you are. So many things happening. I’m so excited to have found your “show”. I can’t believe that nobody in my local “scene” told me about you.

Another great blog, Dr. Block. Regarding the Pope ban on condoms for women: Having any imperative to reproduce without considering the needs of either your children or future generations is the most amoral and irresponsible form of sexuality except for rape. Unfortunately the Catholic Church and other religious institutions have long been guilty of both these grievous offenses to such a degree no thermometers could ever register, even if they read moral outrages, since it would be off the scales. As as far as national security goes, except for technology, training and tactics, the United States or any other nation has no right to conceal its criminal activities. Moreover, since there is no formal and legal declaration of war, negotiations ought to be open, or at least the need for secrecy must be explained. The problems with Wikileaks are not about national security, but national arrogance and certain folks who feel they are above and beyond any reasonable accountability.

You are irascible, opinionated, and occasionally drive me up the wall…then you look at that face, the eyes, the hats, and I know underneath that naughty exterior lies a sweet girl having the time of her life. I love you, Doc.

Great minds think alike! Still looking for someone to dance nude beneath the Solstice moon with me too.

Thank you for touching on all the religious aspects that I could not fit into my short piece. You hit all the right buttons and hopefully folks will learn much from you.

And thank you for visiting my humble blog of the wandering thoughts of an unfocused mind. If only the power could be harnessed for good. (Love a good harness.)

Been following you for years, former website member, public tv and radio. Someday I hope to earn an invitation to the Speakeasy. By the way, Persia really percolates my hormones…

    Your amazing presence…

I don’t need sex therapy, since simply knowing about you is pretty fucking liberating in itself. I gives me a whole lot of peace of mind knowing that you are out there sharing your highly transformational positive message for a truly sick and fucked up world. I especially appreciated your message to presidents, dictators, warmongers and troops.

I also think you are about the most intelligent and erotically sensual woman I have ever seen. I envy your husband a whole lot…

Keep up your important work, Goddess.

    Your fan and admirer,

    John Fuhrmann

I read your piece and found myself laughing out loud (and I’m picky about sexual jokes, so they were really funny). I posted it on my FB wall and I’m sure my many friends on there will share it far and wide.

I would like to bring to your attention that Eid al-Adha is not “Muslim Winter Feast of the Sacrifice,” it is indeed a Feast of the Sacrifice but its date keeps changing every year because the Islamic calendar is based on lunar year which is about 355 days long. That means that the next year it will be 10 days earlier than this year, in about 18 years it will be in the summer season and then another 18 years later it will be in winter again. Perhaps your knowledge about religions and sex is limited to Christianity which deems sex as dirty and condemns women as inherently evil because Eve carried out the original sin but in Islam sex is not considered to be dirty as long as it is between husband and wife. Indeed both spouses are encouraged to be make themselves attractive to their spouses and to enjoy sex within the bounds of marriage. There is no restriction to sex related to Eid al-Adha feast or any other event in the Muslim calendar except for the month of Ramadhan during which the Muslims are supposed to fast during the day time (no eating, drinking or sex). I am not sure how much attention and seriousness I (and other people who know better) can devote to an article that makes such a colossal mistake as describing Eid al-Adha as a “winter feast” in its opening paragraph. I will have to consider all your other claims no more real than the existence of Santa Claus.

    PS:
I was pleasantly surprised by your highlighting of perma-war and how the mainstream media wants us to Buy, buy, buy more bling.

Assange is no better than the Pope. What an egomaniac. They both should wear condoms on their dickheads to protect the rest of us from them. But I do like your Christmas Erotica.

House arrest in a 10-bedroom mansion is not too bad for Assange-plenty of space for holiday debauchery.

    Dr. Block,

Loved your article on counterpunch. It was the most clever and witty piece I have read in a long time. As a (novice) computer programmer (i.e. certified nerd) and someone who was permanently kicked off of Facebook (for nothing more than posting this video: http://maxblumenthal.com/feeling-the-hate-in-jerusalem/) I really appreciated it.

    Thank you.

Except for the adoration for Assange (I still think he’s a snitch and causes more problems than he fixes).

I agree with every single statement here. This was a fun read, and is bookmarked ^^

I will be sure to spread ur message, master

Susan this is one of your most penetrating works. Julian Assange is for many a hero rather than a criminal as he has bought to light the injustice that is taking place.
I still continue to believe as I have said earlier that modern day United States resembles the Nazis in many ways.
A specific example of this pertains to Anwar Awlaki, an American citizen born in USA,who has been sentenced to death without a trial.
I always thought that a person was innocent till proven guilty, and due process was an American right. In today’s complex times The Founding Fathers would be turning in their grave if they witnessed what is taking place in our beloved USA.

Awesome blog as always Susan, I’m glad to hear Assange is out of jail I think if Wikileaks have been around when Bush got the infamous flight school memo 9/11 wouldn’t have happened sometimes when the government in such a rush to hide everything from the general public important things fall through the crack and then tragedies happen. I think politicians sometimes forget the people voted them into office and they become more concerned about their own self interest rather than the people they are supposed to be serving. I’m glad that Wikileaks is around now hopefully that will help our politicians make more moral and ethical decisions now that the general public can be made more aware of government decisions and policies. I understand that the government needs to keep some things secret but the government has also abused our trust at times by doing unethical things that were that were kept secret. Hopefully with more people like Julian around government will become more accountable to the people and cease all the petty arguments, money pocketing and wasteful spending and focus on real problems and earn back the trust it has lost I’m sure it won’t happen overnight but hopefully some day.

You sure touched all the bases on this one! Nice recap of ancient festivities. And, very insightful recap of so much recent psycho-sexual buffoonery. Methinks you should start carrying Benedict (dicked?) and Wiki-no-Leak Brand condoms at the Speakeasy.

    Hi, Dr. Susan,

I am so happy to have your participation and support with my mission to help the planet move toward the frequency of Love and Peace by reminding everyone that pleasure can be a path to peace! I read through your website and am thrilled to be connected with you! Another good link for you might be ASEP, the Association of Sexual Energy Professionals. I have some friends in that organization. I believe in all working together.

Here’s the info I found about the exact date and time of the winter solstice:
In the Northern Hemisphere, the next Winter Solstice occurs on December 21, 2010 at 6:38 PM ET and 23:38 UTC (Universal Time).
    So that will be Tuesday.

I will be happy to talk with you about Orgasms for Peace on a deeper level.

    to peace!

    Dear Dr. Block,
Once again a great piece. Glad you folks are supporting Julian Assange. He’s done the world a great favor by publishing these outrageous documents that expose the criminality of those who lead us.

If a crime is being committed it must be reported, it is the responsibility of every individual, not just publishers. There is no other course or we become co-conspirators with the criminals.

Protect your right to information, protect a FREE PRESS and protect Julian Assange against the creeping Fascism of The New World Odor.
